Thanksgiving in Kehl

We are so lucky to have Lucie so closeby! The TGV from Paris to Strasbourg is less than two hours so it is easy for her to get her! She and Louise (her kitty) came to celebrate Thanksgiving and they brought their dear friend, Quincy. We decided to celebrate the Friday after Thanksgiving just because of work schedules, but it was definitely a lovely Thanksgiving event!

Tutu had brought two bags of Pepperidge Farm stuffing on her trip and we easily consumed them both. There were (thankfully) frozen turkeys at our grocery store and we had mashed potatoes, gravy, brussel sprouts and apple crisp and ice cream to top it off! Plus, we had lots of wine from our various wine trips so we enjoyed those.

We had our original Thanksgiving meal on Friday night and then had round two on Saturday night, after a lovely visit to the Strasbourg Christmas markets. We rounded out the weekend, with a final Thanksgiving meal on Sunday midday before the girls headed back to Paris. It was a great weekend and we were all satiated with Thanksgiving treats! Until next time that is...

Note the turkey! Yum!!

One of my most favorite things!!!

On Saturday night, we crammed ourselves around the iPad to watch the Gamecocks beat Clemson. It was so exciting! I had to text my upstairs neighbor and apologize for all of the screaming!!!
