Hiking in Sasbachwalden

So, I am now caught up on my blog. I hope to not let it go this long without blogging again. I love keeping track of places we have been, things we have done, and restaurants where we have dined! I often use our blogs to make recommendations or plan other trips. So, I need to be better about keeping this one up!

Yesterday, we spent the morning at a couple of vide greniers in France. We bought a metal table for our balcony and a couple of kitchen items. As always, it was fun! It was also a beautiful day so we decided to go for a hike in the afternoon. I found a hike on the app Komoot that looked appealing and was only about 30 minutes away from our house.

It turned out to be a more difficult hike than expected because it was a STEEP incline the first half, but it was beautiful so we just took our time and enjoyed the view. Also, we knew since we were going up that we would be going down at some point so that was motivating. During the hike, there was water flowing and many bridges to cross. Plus, there was a schnapps brewery on the route that we decided not to stop at this time, but will go back to! We even saw a llama farm. It was pretty spectacular. Enjoy the pictures below!

Pausing for a picture (and a breathing break)

Lots of water!

Gorgeous views!

Here is another!

We love a water wheel!

Heading home pondering the llamas we saw!
